Information

General Rules

• LRBC applies official FIBA rules with some adaptations for corporate basketball.
• All players must be at least 18 years old to participate.
• Each team must designate a captain who will be the main contact with the league.
• Fair play and respect between teams are fundamental values of the league.

Registration

• Registrations must be completed before the start of the season.
• Each player must be registered on the match sheet to participate.
• A player can only play for one team per season.

Match Procedures

• Matches are played in 4 quarters of 10 minutes (running time).
• The home team is responsible for booking and preparing the venue.
• A minimum of 5 players is required to start a match.
• In case of forfeit, the defaulting team loses the match 20-0.
• Match postponements must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

Standings

• A win earns 1 point, a loss earns 0 points.
• In case of a tie, point differential breaks the tie.
• Playoffs are played in best of 3 (2 wins required).

LRBC applies a progressive sanction system to maintain fair play and safety for all participants.

Before the Match

• Arrive at least 15 minutes before kickoff.
• The home team prepares the venue and equipment (ball, timer).
• Fill in the match sheet with player names and numbers.
• Complete an appropriate warm-up to prevent injuries.

During the Match

• Respect referee decisions, even in case of disagreement.
• Timeouts must be requested through the captain.
• Report any injury immediately to the referee.
• Substitutions are only made during stoppages.
• Maintain sportsmanlike behavior at all times.

After the Match

• Shake hands with opponents and thank the referee.
• Sign the match sheet (captains of both teams).
• The home team is responsible for cleaning up the venue.

Equipment

• Sports attire required (jersey, shorts, indoor sports shoes).
• Jewelry and dangerous accessories are prohibited.
• Uniform numbered jerseys are recommended.
